I’m updating this text, as we speak!
This year we offered an optional tour on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at an additional cost of only $89. Our first optional tour this year took us to the Harvard Museum of Natural History to see the exhibit “Glass Flowers: The Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants.” Then we were off to Plymouth Rock, to see the site that symbolizes the historical disembarkation site of the Mayflower Pilgrims who founded Plymouth Colony in  December, 1680.

As part of our convention fee, on Friday, October 30, 2025, we visited the New Bedford Museum of Glass and the Sandwich Glass Museum. The New Bedford Museum is now housed in the James Arnold mansion in the heart of downtown New Bedford, an elegant Federal style mansion.  Lunch was provided for everyone at the Longhorn Steakhouse and then we were off the the Sandwich Glass Museum.  A wonderful day!
